Hi! I'm Amy and the driving force behind Arete HR. I have worked in HR for over ten years and am deeply passionate about HR and importantly, providing pragmatic, easy to understand, advice that actually adds value. I have worked in different sectors over the years including legal, manufacturing, hospitality, medical and financial services and have worked my way up from an administrator to Head of HR. I chose the name 'Arete' as it means excellence which is exactly what we strive for here. I studied Law at the University of the West of England before continuing on to complete my Masters in Human Resources Management. I am a chartered member of the CIPD and enjoy attending update events. Arete HR is fully insured and registered with the ICO.
